Supplementary Reagent B for sulphite measurement

The SO 3 Reagent B is part of a coordinated measurement procedure and complements the analysis of sulphite levels in water. Together with Reagent A (Article No.: 156240), it enables reliable measurement that makes changes in the water circuit visible. Water quality can thus be monitored and deviations can be responded to in good time. The guaranteed minimum shelf life of the reagent is 7 months.

Suitable for:

• Regular monitoring in cooling or process circuits

The 500 ml bottle can be inserted directly and easily into the Testomat 2000 SO 3 measuring device from Heyl without the need for complicated transferring. Contamination is avoided and daily operation remains reliable and stable.

The Testomat 2000® SO 3 device is a robust wet-chemical online monitoring system for monitoring the sulphite content (SO32-) in the range of 0 to 50 mg/l. The colourimetric analysis method is used. The analysis is carried out by adding two reagents and, after a reaction time of approximately three minutes (pure measurement time without rinsing times), the result is displayed.

• Resolution in the range 0–5 mg/l: 0.1 mg/l
• Resolution in the range 5–10 mg/l: 0.5 mg/l
• Resolution in the range 10–50 mg/l: 1 mg/l
